vindyavasini temple or bindebasini temple: the old bazaar is home to vindyavasini mandir built in 17th century. it is dedicated to goddess bhagwati known as guardian deity of pokhara which was bought from india. this white pagoda-styled building quietly sits at some 3000 feet above sea level and is famous for view annapurna and machhpuchhare mountain ranges on clear sunny days.
