changlimithang stadium (located in chhogyel lam, thimphu): this multipurpose stadium located in heart of thimphu is mainly used for football matches and is home to national football team. this is the place where lot of national events like coronation, royal wedding, royal anniversaries etc have been celebrated. beside the main stadium there are couple of archery grounds – for traditional archery players and for archers using compound bows.
