jungshi hand made paper factory (located in khuju lam, thimphu): located about 1 km from main city of thimphu, the factory manufactures most authentic and bets quality of traditional bhutanese paper made from bark of two trees – daphne and dhekap. an interesting thing to note that jungshi means ‘natural’. a visit here gives us an opportunity to see entire process of manufacturing of traditional handmade paper.  even we have an option of trying our hands on paper making craft. amongst other items this factory also makes greeting cards and paper stationery.  here you can even buy the products made in the factory.
