chusom: on the way from paro to thimphu, this place is the confluence of thimphu (wong) chhu and paro (pa) chhu rivers. for many traditional bhutanese this confluence is considered the union of a father and mother river. there are three chortens in this area built in  nepali, tibetan and bhutanese style designed to keep evil away.
