by air – guwahati’s airport, lokapriya gopinath bordoloi international airport, which is about 25 km away from city is well connected with almost major of the country.  apart from being domestic airport it also offers international connectivity like flight to bangkok and paro.

the other major airport in assam is at dibrugarh which is also week connected with major cities in india. there is also a domestic airport in jorhat which has limited flight connection.  apart from these there are few smaller airports mainly used to connect the districts of assam like north lakhimpur, silchar and tezpur.

by rail  –  assam has around 259 railway stations which offers well connectivity within state and also nationally. some of the major stations in assam are guwahati, dibrugarh, goalpara, nagaon, tezpur, jorhat, silchar, and golaghat

by road – the road network in assam is good and several national highways pass through the state. the condition of the roads are excellent.
