butterfly museum or wankhar entomology museum is a private museum owned by wankhar family of shillong and is only known museum in india which devoted to moths and butterflies. the museum displays an extensive collection of butterflies, moths, beetles and other insects. also butterflies are cultivated for commercial purposes.
