kohima cathedral is a beautiful piece of architecture and residence of the diocese of kohima. it has a seating capacity for 3000 people and standing capacity of 1500 people. there is a 16 feet tall crucifix which is considered to be one of tallest crucifix in asia. it is mainly funded by japanese people who wanted to built a monument in memory of soldiers who died during battle of kohima.
