naga heritage village also known as kisama heritage village seeks to preserve and promote the culture and traditions of the naga people. . it is about 12 kms from kohima and is designed in such a way to give an authentic feel of naga life. it is more like an open-air museum. it is one of the prime tourist attractions and attracts hundreds of tourists round the year.  it consists of 16 different houses designed and made in such a way to symbolize 16 major tribes staying in nagaland. every year in the first week of december, the hornbill festival is held here which is known as king of all festivals.
