rangapahar reserve forest is famous for its plants variety having medicinal properties. there are also variety of unique birds inside the reserve which attracts many bird watchers some of the popular animals that are likely going to see include bear, deer, wild goat, chitals, etc.
zoological park is located about 6km from dimapur city centre. the park has been established with an aim to keep the flora and fauna of the area protected and in a safe place and was inaugurated in 2008.
ntangki wildlife sanctuary is located about 80 kms km from dimapur and has several wild animals like tigers, elephants, mongoose, sloth bear, python and more. it is spread over total area of 202 sq kms and was declared as a national park in 1993. in 2005, the park was also declared as an elephant reserve.
the triple falls is located in seithekima village and has these water streams flowing down from height of 280 ft into a natural pool. apart from just the viewing experience, it is also trekking point.
