shilloi lake also known as latsam lake which is about 250 kms from kohima. it is a beautiful foot shaped lake which is about 4 m deep in the patkai range. the lake is considered holy by locals of latsum village.  as per the legend a spirit of a holy child rests in the bottom of the lake which is the reason as to why no one fishes or uses the lake water for drinking and irrigation.
