located about 70 kms from miao, namsai is famous for ‘land of the golden pagoda’. the golden pagoda is a burmese style buddhist temple opened in 2010.  the golden pagoda complex is spread over 20 hectares of land. the whole structured is covered in gold paint and hence called the ‘golden pagoda’. inside the shrine hall, the pure bronze buddha statue in a meditating pose is located.
