gorichen peak has height of 6858 m and is highest peak in arunachal pradesh. it is about 164 kms gorichen peak and is a great trekking and mountaineering spot. most tourists enjoy the glimpse of gorichen peak while driving from bomdila to tawang. monpa tribes consider this as a sacred peak and believe that the peak protects them from all the evils. this peak is locally known as tsa-nga-phu, which translates into kingdom of the deity.
