jampui hill located about 240 km from agartala literally translates into ‘eternal hills of spring’. it is about 1000 m above sea level and is also known as the kashmir of tripura as it produces large quantities of oranges. every year, during november, orange and tourism festival is held here. it is a great place to watch sunrise and sunset. the hills have pleasant climate all around the year round. apart from oranges on the slopes there are also tea plantations and orchids farming. it offers panoramic views of chittagong hills, kanchanpur-dasda valley and other small hill ranges of tripura and mizoram.
