talley valley wildlife sanctuary which is spread over an area of 337 sq. km. and is about s 32 kilometers from ziro valley. the vegetation here includes subtropical and alpine forests like ferns, orchids silver fir trees, bamboo, and rhododendron. it is also a great place for trekking. it is home to endangered clouded leopards. apart from leopards we can also see malaysian giant squirrel, indian muntjac and asian palm civet. the sanctuary also has around 130 species of birds.
