by air – arunachal pradesh does not have its own airport. there are two airports viz. north lakhimpur’s lilabari airport and guwahati’s lokapriya gopinath bordoloi international airport. both these airports are located in assam. lilabari is the nearest airport to itanagar which is around 80 kms away. however, lilabari receives mostly from guwahati and kolkata. guwahati the other airport is well connected to all parts of country. guwahati is around 330 kms from itanagar.

by rail – if the guests are looking to travel by rail then they have below options:

harmuti railway station situated in lokampur assam is around 43 km away from itanagar

naharlagun railway station located in papum pare district of arunachal pradesh is around 15 km from itanagar.

guwahati railway station has the best connectivity with the rest of the country.

by road – the state is well connected by road from all important cities and nearby states and can easily be reached.
