digholi pukhuri a beautiful man-made pond which is rectangular in shape and created by bhagadatta who constructed it by digging a canal from river brahmaputra. the name digholi pukhuri is derived from two assamese words, dighol meaning long and pukhuri meaning lake. today it is a prominent tourist spots where boat rides and other recreational activities are available. there is also a children park within the lake complex. the lake also offers breathtaking view during the evenings when the place is lit up with several lights. there is a café near this lake where you can relax and enjoy coffee after relishing the boat ride.
