haflong, also known as scotland of assam’ and is believed to the be the only hill station in assam and is located at around 310 kms from guwahati. it is also often referred to white and hillock. it is must visit for nature lovers as it is dotted with beautiful landscapes, lakes, valleys and mountains. its altitude is 680 mtrs which makes it a pleasant destination.

• haflong lake, one of largest natural water lake in assam. this scenic lake offers opportunity to enjoy boating and the picturesque surroundings. the lake is also paradise for birds lovers as lot of migratory bords visit here during winters.

• jatinga known birds suicide point and is about 9 kms from haflong.

• maibong is about 45 (one and half hours of drive) kms from haflong and is known for a beautiful hindu temple of ramchandi which is two roofed monolithic temple.
