bura chapori wildlife sanctuary is about 30 kms from tezpur and covers an area of 44 sq kms. the sanctuary has variety of flora and fauna which includes tiger, wild buffalo, one horned rhino and elephants. it is also home to wide variety of birds including migratory birds.
