bbs tower (located in sangaygang, thimphu): also known as sangaygang view point because of area it is located, it offers panoramic view of thimphu town  situated at an elevation of 2,685 m. bbs actually stands for bhutan broadcasting service is bhutan’s first broadcasting service provider. taking photographs of telecommunication tower is strictly prohibited. the bird’s eye view of thimphu city which can be seen from here is worth taking few snaps. in order to reach the point, one has to walk through hundreds of colorful prayer flags that dot the hill overlooking the thimphu valley. the access road to the tower attracts a lot of fitness fanatics who after work come for an evening walk as the place is located uphill giving an opportunity to walk and jog uphill. the place also becomes a lover’s point after dark.
