national library of bhutan (located in pedzoe lam, thimphu): established to protect tibetan and dzongkha texts, this is a place which is a must visit for book lovers. here visitors can see collection of both ancient as well as new books, manuscripts and rich collection of lithographs. this library also has the distinction of having world’s largest published book which weighs about 68 kilograms and has an height of above of 2 metres. it also has a small collection of foreign books.
