sha radap temple: also known as rada lhakhang or radak neykhang, this temple of guardian deity of wanduephodrang is worth a visit. the locals bring new born child here to seek the blessings and to get them name the child. here you can roll a dice kept in the temple compound, seek the blessings of deity and as per the belief your wishes may come true.

 

nyelung dechenling: a buddhist temple located in phobjika valley is one of eight residences /ling built by 14th-century nyingma dzogchen master longchen rabjam (longchenpa). the interiors of the temple might be simple, but you can request to show some old relics and narrate the tales and miracles of saints. you can also visit centuries old cypress tree which is believed to have been sprouted from longchenpa’s walking stick.

 

khewang lhakhang: this small and one of the oldest monasteries of the valley is located opposite tabating. it features three two-storey statues of the past, present and future buddha.

 

damchen lhakhang: this 14th century lhakhang is believed to be the old temple in the valley.
