gaselo and nahee village: located in the western part of wangdue which takes about 2 hours, these twin villages will give you a great chance to experience rural bhutanese life. the surrounding sceneries of farmland and the beautiful valley is fascinating. autumn is the best time for a village excursion to these places as that’s the harvest time. the villagers are very happy to see visitors

adha and rukha villages: located in the southern of wangdue town, where to experience the village the visitors must spend the night in tents. alternatively you can also stay in farmhouse. the highlights are an experience into farming life. the farmers will tell tales of mermaids and kings. summer months are not recommended for cultural groups. the biting midges (sand flies), mosquitoes and leeches may not be an ideal experience for cultural visitors.
