hot stone bath – hot stone bath, a traditional form of massage where stones heated in fire are added to water collected from spring in a wooden tub. these hot stones later release their heat and minerals to water. it is said to have no side effects. also do not worry about the hot stone as there will be wooden bars to separate the stones. this bathing ritual can be experienced all over bhutan.
phalluses paintings on the walls and found inside house – don’t feel embarrassed when you see phallus paintings on wall of houses/buildings. even don’t feel embarrassed when during your visit to a local home you find a wooden structure designed in shape of phallus. walls bear paintings of phallus; some big, some small, some “terrifyingly huge”. such phallus paintings are considered to ward of evil and bring good luck.
