air force museum is one of the most popular museums here and is located close to elephant falls within the complex of eastern air command. it is a tribute to the defense system of our nation and aircraft models, actual machines and technology demonstrations used by eastern command. there is also mi 4 helicopter which played a role in the 1971 war. also, a number of musical instruments are displayed here. foreigners are not allowed into the museum and indian nationals have to deposit their id card at the time of entrance which can be collected on exit.
