kyllang rock, located about 78 km from shillong, it is a unique rock made of red granite and in a shape of a dome. it is a haven for rock climbers who come here to test their skills and it takes around half an hour to reach the top. there are also staircases through which tourist can also reach the top.  it is at an altitude of 5400 feet and has width of 1000 feet.
