siju caves are the 3rd largest caves in the indian subcontinent and popularly known as ‘the cave of bats’. these are located about 132 kms from tura and contains river passages and several chambers forming unexplored mazes. close by there is siju bird sanctuary which are home to rare and protected species of birds.
