kohima museum displays the culture and traditions of almost all the major tribes of the state which includes many unique artifacts related to each tribe. it is great collection of articles and treasures since the time of the nagas. the items on display include statues, pillars, ancient weaponry, traditional dresses amongst others. there is also rare collection of precious stones which includes tourmaline, coral and artifacts made out of brass and silver bells.
