for entry into nagaland, guests must have valid inner line permit (ilp) details of which is given below:

• documents valid:
  • adult – voters id card / passport / aadhar card / driving licence. pan card is not accepted as valid id proof by government authorities and hotels.
  • child – passport / aadhar card / school id
  • infant – aadhar card/ birth certificate
  • the guests must share the proper scanned copy of above documents together with the scanned copy of passport size photographs to us in jpg form so that we can apply for permits
• at least 10 official working days are required for processing the documents. ilp office remains closed on saturday-sunday.
• at the time of travel, the guests must carry originals of above documents together with 2 passport size photographs of each travelling member. in case the guests are visiting multiple places, then they must carry adequate number of these documents.
• inner line permit are issued by the government of nagaland and required for entering nagaland through any of the check gates across the inter-state borders.
• dimapur, nagaland’s largest city and port head, is the only place in the state which does not require an ilp, and indians arriving by air at dimapur airport can arrive and stay in the city without one.
