- momos, stuffed dumplings popularly eaten across himalayas and known as a tibetan food. they can be found everywhere, in restaurants or as street foods. they can be either steamed or fried.
- thukpa, this tibetan origin dish is a kind of noodles soup which consists of boiled noodles, vegetables and meat.
- dal bhat, this staple food of nepal is considered to be their national dish. here in a plate separate bowls of rice, curry (dal), pickles and vegetables are served. most of nepalese have dal bhat twice a day.
- chatamari, this nepalese version of pizza is a thin rice flour crepe topped with delicious topping.
- bajeko sekuwa, skewered barbeque meat mixed with spices

- skiarni, a popular curd based dish mixed with spices and fruits.
- raksi, alcoholic drink made from rice or millets.

- chaang, alcoholic drink made from fermented rice.
