ranikot hill: located in the southern part of bhaktapur district, it is a beautiful hilltop to enjoy the view of bhaktapur city. on a clear sunny day, great view of valley together with himalayas are the reasons why visitors come here. it is relatively unexplored and has immense potential as a tourist destination. it is around 10 km from suryabinayak. the place can be reached on jeep or motorcycle. it is also a good hike for beginners from suryabinayak and takes around 4 – 5 hours.
