seti gorge: seti gandaki river originating from the beautiful mountain the machhapuchre flows right through the city. the river before entering the city disappears into narrow natural tunnel and appears to outside world in some places. mahendra pool or bridge is the right place to view the dreadful rush of the river through a narrow gorge. the water appears to be milky white and cool. its width is hardly 2 meters and the depth is more than 20 meters which cannot be seen.
